What Can I expect when I visit Calvary Baptist Church?

First, let me thank you for considering a visit to Calvary Baptist Church.

When you visit Calvary you will be warmly greeted by the pastoral staff, ushers and members alike, offering assistance in finding an appropriate Sunday School Class for you and your family members.

In our "traditional" service which follows, you will find an atmosphere of worship, where we seek to worship the Lord "in spirit and in truth" - John 4:24. You will be able to lift your voice in song as we sing beautiful hymns of the faith and sacred songs thoughtfully selected for accompaniment by the organ, piano, orchestra and choir. You will find the people of Calvary intently listening to Pastor McLaughlin's sermons that "feed the flock" so they can "grow in grace" and have something to strengthen their faith and life so as to live for the glory of God in these difficult days. You can expect to hear words like: sin, judgment, hell, repentance, salvation in Christ and Christ alone, hope, heaven and the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
