| The Faith Promise Offering is at the heart of
our missions giving at Calvary. Each year we have a Faith Promise
Mission Conference in November to highlight the tremendous need of
world-wide missions. Our people are challenged to give to the cause
of missions. We ask that people will first and foremost consider
giving themselves to the work of missions - this could involve becoming
missionaries and going to the foreign field or actively working to reach
the lost here in our community. It certainly involves a sacrifice of
time for prayer. Beyond that, we ask that people will sacrificially
give to support the work of missions around the world. Since 1986,
we have employed a Biblical method of giving termed "Faith
Promise" for our missions giving.
Some are very familiar with "Faith Promise," while the term
